Folkestone and Hythe District Councillors have up to £3,000 per Councillor they can agree as ward grants during the course of a year.
The forms and guidance notes to make an application to a Councillor are online at:
....however, if you'd prefer a Word (so editable) copy of the application form, the Member Ward Budget Grant 2021/22 Application form is available here.
There are, clearly, a large number of projects and organisations that could make use of grant funding, and the money is limited.
I'd massively prefer if you contact me to discuss any potential application and project before starting to complete the forms - I don't lke to disappoint people, but the nature of this funding is such that it is limited.
You can see how I allocated my Ward Grant funding in 2019-20 and 2020-21 at https://www.folkestone-hythe.gov.uk/moderngov/mgUserInfo.aspx?UID=164 including grants to Strange Cargo, Pavement Pounders, Sandgate Society, Kent Community Foundation, Folkestone & Hythe Sea and Royal Marine Cadets, Sandgate Primary School PTA, Chichester Memorial Hall, Rotary Channel Triathlon, Leas Lift & Hestia Folkestone Haven!
